The Reading Public Library opens its adults department at the Main branch for a mocktail hour, with fall themed drinks poured for anyone who stops in. It is a relaxed way to spend an hour downtown, sipping something seasonal in a familiar space.
No preparation is needed. Come as you are, try a drink, and enjoy a little conversation with other neighbors who wandered in for the same reason. Staff will be on hand in the adults department at 100 N. 5th Street.
If you have been meaning to see what else the library has going on, this is an easy afternoon to combine a visit with a browse through the stacks.
