Hezekiah Jones brings its alternative folk sound to the Thorn Alley Stage at GoggleWorks on Friday evening. The Philadelphia-area collective gathers around the songwriting of Raphael Cutrufello, with a rotating cast of musicians filling out songs built on memorable melodies, ringing harmonies, and inventive instrumental touches. Cutrufello is known for reaching well beyond standard folk instrumentation, pulling in melodica, xylophone, and toy piano along with acoustic guitar, and the band's storytelling leans toward vivid characters and imagined places while staying grounded in feeling.

The night features two sets of live music from 7 to 9 PM, with doors opening at 6 PM. Thorn Alley Kitchen will serve a special food and bar menu for the evening, so there is time to settle in with dinner and a drink before the first set. Parking and gallery admission are included with your visit, which makes it easy to walk through the GoggleWorks exhibitions beforehand.

The show happens rain or shine, moving indoors if the weather turns. Seating is limited and offered first come, first served, so arriving early is a good idea if you would like a seat.
