Maple Grove Raceway hands its quarter mile over to diesel power for the Keystone Truck Nationals, a day built around big rigs and pickups running side by side on the drag strip. Bracket racing for diesel trucks and heavy haulers anchors the schedule, with racing payouts on the line and burnout competitions adding smoke and noise between rounds.

Beyond the racing, the grounds fill with a show-and-shine lineup spanning polished big rigs, mini trucks and monster trucks, so there is plenty to walk through and look over even between passes. Vendors set up on site, and fireworks cap the action once the sun goes down.

The Mohnton track has long set aside a spot on its calendar for diesel enthusiasts, and the event draws owners, drivers and fans from well beyond Berks County. Families are a big part of the crowd, and kids who like loud engines and tall tires tend to find this one hard to beat.
