About the event
Reading Coffee Company hosts a hands-on latte art class at its Birdsboro shop on West Main Street, led by Beverage Director John Cappelletti. The evening opens with a short talk on the science behind steaming milk, then shifts to practice at the machine.
Participants work through milk texture, pouring technique, alternative milks, the mistakes that trip up most beginners, and more involved patterns as skills build. A question and answer session closes things out, so you can bring whatever you have been wondering about your setup at home. Everything you need is provided, and no experience is required.
The class suits home baristas who want professional guidance, anyone who received an espresso machine and wants to put it to good use, and coffee fans still deciding whether a machine belongs on their counter. Because the workshop involves hot equipment, steam, and hot liquids, closed-toe shoes and practical clothing are recommended, and the instructor should be told in advance about allergies, sensitivities, or physical limitations.
