Downtown Reading closes out October with a treat-filled block party along Penn Street. Mayor Moran's Halloween on Penn brings families out for an evening of tables and treats, with costumes welcome and the street given over to the community for a few hours.
The City of Reading and the Downtown Reading team are organizing the gathering as part of a fall lineup built around culture, community, and seasonal fun. Participating businesses, activities, and vendor details are being announced as the date gets closer, so check back with the city for updates.
It is an easy outing for anyone who wants trick-or-treating in a walkable setting, and a good excuse to see what is open downtown while you are there.
