Syrian-born artist Nasr Warour brings "Sort of Wind" to the Holleran Gallery at Yocum Institute for Arts Education, marking the North American debut of this body of work. Warour works across painting, sculpture, photography, and image-making, and the pieces gathered here were developed between Dubai and the United States.

The exhibition looks at the quiet forces that move through daily life: memory, relationships, motion, and change. Blending abstraction and figuration with an emphasis on contour and movement, the work invites visitors to slow down and consider the many kinds of "winds" that shape human experience.

This evening is an artist reception, so you can meet Warour, see the collection in person, and spend time in conversation with other guests. If the reception does not fit your schedule, the exhibition remains on view in the Holleran Gallery through October 9 during regular gallery hours.
