Doc and Bubba's turns its dining room and bar over to a celebration of Dolly Parton, with live music from Adriana Sica setting the tone for the evening. The date itself is part of the fun, a nod to the song that made nine to five shorthand for the working day.

A life size cutout of Dolly stands ready for photos, so bring a friend and take one home from the night. The Mohnton spot is known around Berks for its live music, upscale casual menu and patio seating, which makes it an easy place to settle in for dinner and stay for the songs.

The kitchen serves until 9 p.m. and the bar stays open until 11 p.m., leaving plenty of room to arrive early for a full meal or stop by later for a drink and the music.
