Cirque Italia brings its Paranormal Cirque Specter production to Kutztown for six performances under a black and white striped big top raised on the Kutztown Fairgrounds. The show blends circus, theater and cabaret with a horror flavor, filling the tent with aerial acrobats, contortionists, illusion work, and a cast of odd and mysterious characters moving through fog and dramatic stage effects.
Seating inside the tent is arranged across three levels, so you can choose how close you want to be to the action, and parking is available on the fairgrounds. Doors open into a fully transformed space, and the October timing puts it right in the middle of the season for anyone who likes their entertainment with a shiver.
This one is built for teens and grown ups rather than young children. The production includes adult language and mature material, and guests under 17 need a parent or guardian 21 or older with them. Plan for an evening out with friends or older family members.
