About the event

WhenSeptember 20, 2026 · Showings at 5:30, 6:45 and 8:00 PM
WhereThe Neag Planetarium, 500 Museum Road, Reading

The Neag Planetarium turns its dome into a full 360-degree canvas for Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon. All ten tracks of the album play in order while visuals wrap around the room from every angle, some drawing on the band's history and others reaching toward something entirely new. The production comes from the team at NSC Creative, working with Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis, the artist behind much of Pink Floyd's visual identity.

Seating is under the dome, so the sound and imagery surround you rather than sitting in front of you. Showings are scheduled at 5:30, 6:45 and 8:00 PM, giving you a choice of an early evening visit or a later one. The planetarium is its own building on the Reading Public Museum campus at 500 Museum Road, with parking on site.

A note for planning: the theater is dark and filled with moving imagery throughout, and late entry is not permitted once a showing begins. Arrive during the check-in window printed on your ticket. The production uses no strobing, though there are some quick flickering light transitions.
