About the event
On the second Sunday of each month, the upper floors of GoggleWorks open up for a self guided studio crawl, and this one begins at noon. Wander the second and third floor hallways, where artwork lines the walls outside the working studios, and step inside to see what the resident artists are making.
Studio artists plan to be on hand during the afternoon, so there is a good chance to talk with the people behind the work, ask about their materials and process, and see projects in progress. There is no set route or schedule, so you can move at whatever pace suits your group and linger where something catches your eye.
It suits families, first time visitors, and anyone curious about the creative life of the building. Bring a friend, or come on your own and expect to run into a few familiar faces from around Reading.
