Doc and Bubba's opens its Sunday with brunch service running from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, followed by live music from noon to 3:00 pm. The kitchen stays open until 7:00 pm and the bar until 8:00 pm, so you can settle in for a late breakfast, linger over the music, or come back later in the day for a full meal.
The Mohnton restaurant serves creative American cooking and craft cocktails in a setting that mixes upscale touches with a casual feel. The outdoor patio looks out over the surrounding hills and valley, which makes a mid October Sunday a good time to grab a seat outside if the weather cooperates. Chicken and waffles and French toast are popular brunch picks for groups.
The restaurant sits at 4312 New Holland Road, along the back roads south of Reading, and has been run by Jim and Deb Radwanski since 2022. Reservations are a good idea for weekend tables, and there is shuttle service from overflow parking when the main lot fills.
