The Fixx, Colin Blunstone (The Voice Of The Zombies) & Peter Asher
September 27, 2026 · 7:30 PM · 136 N 6th St

About the event
Three British acts share one stage in downtown Reading for an evening that reaches from the British Invasion through the MTV years. Leading the bill is The FIXX, often described as one of the most innovative bands to emerge from the early days of music video, with a sound built around Cy Curnin on vocals, Rupert Greenall on keyboards, Jamie West-Oram on guitar, Adam Woods on drums and Dan K. Brown on bass. Their catalog includes "One Thing Leads To Another," "Red Skies" and "Saved By Zero," songs that still turn up regularly on radio, in films and on television.
Colin Blunstone brings the voice behind The Zombies, and he has said his set will draw on songs from his solo career along with some Zombies classics. Peter Asher opens a window on a remarkable stretch of pop history, first as half of Peter and Gordon, whose hits included "A World Without Love," "Nobody I Know" and "I Go To Pieces," and later as the first A&R man at the Beatles' Apple label, where he signed James Taylor, going on to produce and manage both Taylor and Linda Ronstadt.
Expect a night of familiar songs and the stories behind them, well suited to anyone who grew up with these records or is meeting them for the first time.
Hosted by Santander Performing Arts Center on BerksConnect.
