Wood Flower brings a night of bluegrass to the Thorn Alley Stage, with tight harmonies, driving banjo, soulful mandolin, twin guitars, and a steady bass line holding it all together. The band formed in the spring of 2022 when a music teacher joined forces with a former guitar student fresh out of Berklee College of Music, and their sound pairs a traditional bluegrass foundation with plenty of energy.

Since their start, they have opened for The Seldom Scene and shared stages with Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder, Wyatt Ellis, and East Nash Grass. Their festival and venue credits include Musikfest, Wind Gap Bluegrass Festival, Podunk Bluegrass Festival, Godfrey Daniels, Sellersville Theater, and Ardmore Music Hall. Their self-titled debut album, which mixes originals with bluegrass standards, is available to stream or purchase.

The evening features two sets of live music. Doors open at 6:00 PM, so there is time to browse the galleries, where admission and parking are free, and to order from Thorn Alley Kitchen's special event menu before the music starts. Seating is limited and first come, first served, and the performance moves indoors if the weather turns.
