Wooden Ships Band brings the songbook of Crosby, Stills & Nash (and Young) to the Miller Center stage, with the layered harmonies at the center of everything. The twist is in the voices: three women carry the vocal parts, giving familiar folk rock favorites a fresh character while keeping the arrangements, tunings, and textures close to the versions listeners grew up with.

The group is made up of experienced musicians who have built the show around those songs of peace and love, the ones that have stayed in rotation for decades. Expect an evening of acoustic guitars, close vocal blends, and material that rewards anyone who knows the records well, along with plenty for newcomers to enjoy.

The Miller Center for the Arts sits at 4 N 2nd Street in downtown Reading. Free parking is available for Miller Center events in the RACC flat student lots on a first-come, first-served basis. Student Lot A on Front Street is the closest flat lot to the venue, next to the Yocum Library at 30 S Front Street.
