Yoga Under The Stars settles into the Neag Planetarium at the Reading Public Museum, where a certified instructor guides a gentle practice beneath a dome of projected stars. The pace is relaxed and the focus is on unwinding, so the session suits newcomers as comfortably as it does people with a regular practice.
The planetarium setting is what makes this one different from a class in a studio. Reclined seating under a night sky, quiet surroundings, and an hour set aside for breathing and stretching give the evening an unhurried feel that fits the early dark of November.
This session opens the second fall series, and participants should plan to bring their own yoga mat and a water bottle. If weather affects a class, the Museum shares updates through its website and social media, and any missed week is added to the end of the series.
