Settle in beneath the dome of the Neag Planetarium for an hour of gentle yoga guided by a certified instructor. The projected night sky overhead sets the pace for a calm, low key practice built around easy movement and relaxation, which makes it a welcoming fit for newcomers as well as regular practitioners.
The session runs in the planetarium theater at the Reading Public Museum on Museum Road. Participants bring their own yoga mat and a water bottle. Everything else is taken care of by the quiet room and the stars above you.
This class is part of the museum's ongoing fall yoga series, and anyone interested in attending the full run of sessions can arrange that through the museum's program staff.
