Settle in beneath the projected night sky for an evening yoga session inside the Neag Planetarium at the Reading Public Museum. A certified instructor leads the class, with a gentle pace built around relaxation rather than exertion, so the hour works well whether you practice regularly or are simply curious about trying it.
The planetarium dome makes the setting distinctive. Stars move overhead while the class moves through its sequence, and the darkened, quiet room gives the practice a calm that a studio cannot quite match. This session is part of the museum's fall series, and each week stands on its own for anyone who wants to drop in.
Bring your own yoga mat and a water bottle. Reservations are recommended to hold a spot, and walk-ins are accommodated when there is room. If weather affects a class, the museum shares updates on its website and social media, and missed dates are added to the end of the series.
