Peer Recovery Support for Treatment Court Participants From Berks TASC
Berks TASC, the Treatment Access and Services Center, runs a peer-to-peer Recovery Support Services program in which Certified Recovery Support Specialists work with people in the early stages of recovery from substance use disorder.
The specialists share their own experience, strength, and hope. They help people meet basic needs such as food, clothing, and housing, and they give assistance with employment, literacy, transportation, and access to counseling and support groups.
