Warm Hand-Off Drug and Alcohol Help in the Reading Hospital Emergency Room

Berks TASC, the Treatment Access and Services Center, runs a Warm Hand-Off Program inside the Tower Health Reading Hospital Emergency Department that connects people with drug and alcohol treatment right from the emergency room. Working together with the hospital's emergency department, TASC provides drug and alcohol intervention services to opiate overdose survivors, patients in opiate withdrawal, and patients using all other substances.
