Services and resources from the Council on Chemical Abuse are for Berks County, PA organizations and residents only. If you are not from Berks County, the agency points people to SAMHSA or NIDA for free publications and information, and for treatment outside Berks County you can call 1-800-662-HELP (4357). Under federal regulation, pregnant women are given preference for access to treatment services funded by the Council on Chemical Abuse.

The list is grouped by the kind of care. Each program shows its address, phone number, the services COCA has approved it for, and whether services are provided in Spanish.

For withdrawal management and for residential treatment, the list does not name individual programs. Instead it tells you to call the 24/7 Drug & Alcohol Hotline at (484) 628-4673, or to contact the Treatment Access and Services Center (TASC) at 640 Walnut St, Suite 101, Reading, PA 19601, (610) 375-4426. TASC help is available 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
