Overbooked Book Club at Brandywine Community Library
Starts Tue, Nov 17, 6:00 PM · Free
About the program
The Overbooked Book Club meets at the Brandywine Community Library in Topton to talk about a shared book. The group is geared to adults who like to read and compare notes with other readers.
The selection up for discussion is The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. It follows Don Tillman, a genetics professor who decides it is time to find a wife and designs a long, scientifically valid survey to screen out candidates who drink, smoke or arrive late. Rosie Jarman fails on every count, but Don is drawn into her search for her biological father, and the two end up working on that project together.
Read the book ahead of the meeting if you can, then come to the library for the discussion. Meetings are held in the evening at the library on Tower Drive. For more details, contact the library.
