About the program
This is independent studio time in the Printmaking Studio at GoggleWorks in Reading. You come in and work on your own projects during open studio hours, with a studio monitor on hand for oversight and help with equipment. It is set up for people at an intermediate or advanced level, and it meets on Wednesdays for five sessions.
You may use the studio equipment, including screens, presses, exposure units, emulsion and ink. Plan to bring your own printing substrates and any extra screens you want to use. There is a prerequisite: you need to have completed a multi-week intro class at GoggleWorks, or have equivalent experience approved by the studio manager. To have experience reviewed, or to schedule the studio orientation, email programs@goggleworks.org.
Sign up through the GoggleWorks class page for this program. If this is your first month of open studio, register for the studio orientation at the same time. Registration closes five business days before the start date, and GoggleWorks offers scholarships.
