Basket Weaving: Cabin Boy Basket
Starts Wed, Nov 18, 5:30 PM · Member: $51.00 / Non-Member: $60.00 · Ages 14 and up

About the workshop
In this single evening workshop at GoggleWorks, you weave a cabin boy basket: a basket built on a wooden base with handles attached to the sides. It is a practical shape that can hold mail, magazines, remotes or other small items around the house, and you take your finished basket home with you.
The workshop is open to all skill levels, so no weaving experience is needed. It is geared toward adults and teens age 14 and up. Students under 18 enrolling in an adult course need written permission from a parent or guardian, which GoggleWorks can arrange by email before the class date. Susan Dirsa leads the session, which meets in the Textiles Studio, room 316, on the third floor.
Register through the GoggleWorks class page. Registration closes five business days before the start date, and refund terms are listed with the provider's policies. If you are not sure where to go when you arrive at 201 Washington Street in Reading, staff at the front desk can point you to the studio.
