Beaded Bottle Opener
Starts Mon, Nov 23, 5:30 PM · Member: $80.75 / Non-Member: $95.00 · Ages 16 and up

About the workshop
This one evening workshop at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts introduces the basics of bead making on the torch. You shape glass beads and then use them to decorate a bottle opener you take home. The class is open to all skill levels, so no prior flameworking experience is needed. Nikki Vitchner leads the session.
The class meets in the Flameworking Studio in Building 6 on the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington Street in Reading. Wear closed toe shoes and natural fabrics such as cotton, and tie back long hair before you enter the studio. If you are not sure where to go, staff at the front desk can point you to the right building.
Ages 16 and up may attend. Students under 18 enrolling in an adult course need written permission, which GoggleWorks provides by email on request. Registration closes five business days before the class begins, and payment is due when you register. Sign up through the GoggleWorks class page. Scholarship information is also available on their site.
