About the workshop
This single session ceramics workshop at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts walks you through shaping and molding clay into a small jewelry dish. You work by hand and leave with a custom piece made for holding rings, earrings and other accessories. The class is open to all skill levels, so no previous clay experience is needed.
The workshop is for adults and runs on a Tuesday evening from 6 PM to 9 PM in one session, with a November 17 date listed. It meets in the Ceramics Auxiliary Classroom 301 on the third floor of the GoggleWorks building at 201 Washington St in Reading. Cheryl Huber is the instructor. Wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty, since clay work can be messy.
Sign up through the class page on the GoggleWorks website. Registration closes five business days before the class begins, and payment is due when you register. If the session fills, you can ask to join the waitlist. GoggleWorks also offers scholarships, and students under 18 enrolling in an adult course need written permission from the programs office.
