About the workshop
Design and make your own custom ceramic rib tools for shaping clay on the pottery wheel. You work in the woodshop to carve your designs from durable materials, so the tools suit your own throwing style. Come with your ideas ready and leave with personalized tools you made yourself.
The workshop runs as a single Tuesday evening session with instructors Derek Weidman and Bri Shimer. It is open to adults at all skill levels. Class meets in the Woodworking Studio on the first floor at GoggleWorks, 201 Washington Street in Reading. Closed-toe shoes are required.
Sign up online through the GoggleWorks class page. Registration closes five business days before the class begins. If you are unsure where to go when you arrive, the front desk can point you to the studio.
