Flameworked Snowman Glass Workshop for Teens and Adults
Starts Tue, Dec 15, 5:30 PM · Member: $80.75 / Non-Member: $95.00 · Ages 16 and up

About the workshop
This single evening workshop is an introduction to working with borosilicate glass at the torch. You melt and sculpt your own glass snowman by hand and take it with you. Phil Hackman teaches. The workshop is set up for beginner and intermediate students, so no prior glass experience is needed.
Wear closed-toe shoes and natural fabrics such as cotton, and tie back long hair before you work in the studio. The class meets Tuesday evening in the Flameworking Studio in Building 6 on the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington Street in Reading. If you are not sure where to go, ask at the front desk when you arrive.
The workshop is open to ages 16 and up. Students under 18 enrolling in an adult course need written permission from a parent or guardian, which GoggleWorks provides by email. Registration is online through GoggleWorks and closes five business days before the class starts. Scholarships are available.
