Implosion Pendant: Session C
Starts Sat, Dec 19, 5:30 PM · Member: $72.25 / Non-Member: $85.00 · Ages 16 and up

About the workshop
This single evening workshop at GoggleWorks introduces borosilicate glass and the torch. You apply color to a clear glass rod and shape it into a pendant with an imploded design inside. You take the finished piece home, ready to hang on a chain as a necklace for yourself or as a gift.
The session is open to all skill levels and is set up for ages 16 and up, so no torch experience is needed. It meets on a Saturday evening in the Flameworking Studio in Building 6 on the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington St in Reading, with Phil Hackman leading the class. Wear closed-toe shoes and natural fabrics such as cotton, and tie back long hair before you enter the studio.
Register through the class page at goggleworks.org. Registration closes five business days before the start date. Students under 18 enrolling in an adult course need written permission from a parent or guardian, which GoggleWorks provides by email.
