Mini-Makers Glassblown Flower or Paperweight Workshop
Starts Sat, Nov 21, 11:00 AM · Member: $63.75 / Non-Member: $75.00 · Ages 7 to 12

About the workshop
Young makers try glassblowing in a short workshop built for beginners. Working in the hot shop with a GoggleWorks instructor, each participant learns how hot glass is blown and shaped, then makes a flower or a paperweight to take home. All skill levels are welcome, so no experience is needed.
An adult must take part in the workshop alongside the child, and each adult and child who participates needs a spot of their own. Wear closed-toe shoes, and bring a hair tie for long hair. The workshop meets in the Glassblowing Studio in Building 5 on the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington Street in Reading, and staff at the front desk can point you to the right building when you arrive.
The session runs on a Saturday late morning into the early afternoon. Sign up through the GoggleWorks class page for this workshop. GoggleWorks also offers scholarships, and groups can ask about booking a private glassblowing workshop.
