This intermediate ceramics class at GoggleWorks builds on skills you already have at the potter's wheel. You work on throwing taller forms, marbling clay, and using slips to decorate surfaces, while getting a fuller picture of how the ceramic process fits together from start to finish. Heidi Sensenig leads the class.
It is for adults who have taken Intro to Wheel Throwing or have equivalent wheel experience. The group meets Mondays from 9 AM to 12 PM for five sessions, October 26 through November 23, in the Ceramics Studio in Building 3 on the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington St in Reading. If you are not sure where to go, staff at the front desk can point you to the room.
Sign up through the class page on the GoggleWorks website. Registration closes five business days before the first session, and payment is due when you register. Scholarships are available, and students under 18 enrolling in an adult course need written permission from a parent or guardian.
