About the workshop
Make a wearable cyanotype at GoggleWorks. In this one session Maker Date, you and your plus one print on a T-shirt using sunlight, objects and photo negatives. Instructor Alex Crawford covers the basics of this historic photographic process, and you experiment with composition, layering and printing on fabric. The workshop is open to all skill levels. While you work, you share a charcuterie spread put together by Chef Harley and pick a draft beverage from Thorn Alley Kitchen.
The class meets Friday, November 20, from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Darkroom, Studio 233, on the second floor at GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St in Reading. Tuition covers one person, so each attendee needs their own registration. Add ons offered at checkout include a multi course dinner at Thorn Alley Kitchen before the workshop and a drop off option for children, which asks for pre-registration and that the child be potty trained.
