November Glassblowing Maker Date
Starts Fri, Nov 20, 6:00 PM · $105.00

About the workshop
This one session Maker Date brings you and a guest into the hot glass studio at GoggleWorks. Working with the guidance of professional glassblowers, each of you shapes your own piece, either a tumbler or a stemless wine glass. The evening also includes a shared charcuterie spread from Chef Harley and your choice of a draft beverage from Thorn Alley Kitchen. It is open to all skill levels, so no glass experience is needed.
The workshop meets on Friday, November 20, from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Glassblowing Studio, Building 5, at GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St in Reading. It is planned for adults. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring a hair tie, since both are required in the studio.
Registration covers one person, so sign up each person who plans to attend. At checkout you may also see optional add-ons, including a multi-course dinner at Thorn Alley Kitchen before the workshop and a supervised drop off with dinner and a craft for your child. Register through the GoggleWorks class page, and note that registration closes five business days before the class begins.
