November Maker Date: Painted Ornaments

About the workshop
This is a paired painting workshop at GoggleWorks. You and your date use acrylics to paint sets of wooden cut-out ornaments, then seal them with a quick drying varnish. Each person leaves with a pair of wooden holiday ornaments to keep or give away. A charcuterie spread from Chef Harley and your choice of a draft beverage from Thorn Alley Kitchen are part of the evening. The class is open to all skill levels, so no painting experience is needed.
The workshop meets for one Friday session, 6 PM to 8 PM, in classroom 318 on the third floor of GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St in Reading. It is built for adults, and the instructor is Zoungy Kligge. Come ready to work with paint.
Tuition covers one person, so each attendee needs their own registration. When you sign up you can also add a multi-course dinner at Thorn Alley Kitchen before the workshop, or a supervised drop off with dinner and a craft for your child, which requires advance registration and a potty-trained child. Registration closes five business days before the class, and you can sign up through the GoggleWorks class page.
