About the workshop
Bring a partner to this evening metalsmithing workshop at GoggleWorks and make a set of sterling silver stacking rings to take home. Instructor Lukas Kohler walks you through the basics step by step: measuring, cutting, forming, soldering and finishing silver wire. The session is built for beginners, and all skill levels are welcome. A shared charcuterie spread from Chef Harley and a draft beverage of your choice from Thorn Alley Kitchen are part of the evening.
The workshop meets on Friday, November 20, from 6 PM to 8 PM in the Metalsmithing Studio in Building 6 at GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St in Reading. It is one session, for adults. Closed-toe shoes are required. Tuition covers one person, so each attendee needs their own registration.
Sign up online through the GoggleWorks class page. Registration closes five business days before the class starts. Optional add-ons, including a dinner upgrade at Thorn Alley Kitchen and a supervised kids drop off with dinner and a craft, can be selected at checkout while spots remain.
