October Enamel Trinket Dish Maker Date
Starts Fri, Oct 30, 6:00 PM · $96.00

About the workshop
This evening workshop at GoggleWorks pairs metalwork with a shared meal. You shape and finish a copper trinket dish, learning how to prepare the surface, apply enamel, and fire the piece in a kiln. You pick your own colors and design as you go. It is open to all skill levels, so no prior experience with metals is needed.
The Maker Date format is built for two, whether that is a partner, a friend, or a family member. Each pair shares a charcuterie spread from Thorn Alley Kitchen along with a draft beverage of your choice. Add-ons offered at checkout include a multi-course dinner before class and a drop-off option for children, who spend the evening with a craft and pizza in a youth classroom.
Class meets in the Metalsmithing Studio in Building 6 at 201 Washington Street in Reading. Closed-toe shoes are required. Tuition covers one person, so register each attendee separately. Registration closes five business days before the class start. Sign up through the GoggleWorks class page.
