In this class at GoggleWorks, you paint three small works that reflect your own feelings. The approach leans on bold color and intuition rather than careful planning, so you work by experimenting and seeing what comes out. No prior painting experience is needed. Instructor Daniella Yacono leads the sessions, which are open to all skill levels.
The group meets on Sunday evenings for three sessions in the Drawing and Painting Classroom, room 318 on the third floor of GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St in Reading. Shared art materials are set out in the studio for most class meetings. If you want your own supplies, the Art Supply Store on the first floor carries them.
The class is for teens ages 14 and up and adults. Students under 18 enrolled in an adult course need written permission from a parent or guardian, arranged with GoggleWorks before the first session. Registration closes five business days before the start date, and you can sign up on the GoggleWorks class page.
