Pepper Mill Woodturning Workshop at GoggleWorks
Starts Tue, Nov 24, 5:00 PM · Member: $89.25 / Non-Member: $105.00 · Ages 16 and up

About the workshop
Turn your own pepper mill in a single evening session at GoggleWorks. You learn how to turn the body of a mill on the lathe and how to install the grinding mechanism so the finished piece works, and you take your pepper mill home for your own table or to give away. It makes a good addition to a holiday meal.
The workshop is open to all skill levels, so no woodturning experience is needed. Derek Weidman teaches. The group meets in the Woodworking Studio on the first floor of the GoggleWorks building on Washington Street in Reading. Closed-toe shoes are required in the studio.
Sign up through the class page on the GoggleWorks website. Registration closes several business days before the session so the instructor can prepare. Students under 18 taking an adult course need written permission, which GoggleWorks provides by email before the class.
