About the workshop
GoggleWorks Center for the Arts runs single session ornament workshops in its warm glass studios. In each session you work in either the fusing studio or the flameworking studio to make a glass holiday ornament of your own design. Finished pieces suit gift giving or keeping for your own tree.
Sessions are built around different ornament styles, including a fused glass tree, a snow globe, Santa, a snowman, an ugly sweater, a flameworked mitten and a holly berry. Workshops meet on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between November 9 and December 11. Classes are open to all skill levels, so no glass experience is needed. Ages 14 and up may take part, and classes are held in Building 6 at 201 Washington Street in Reading.
