Creative Kids Beading Jewelry Basics Workshop

About the workshop
In this single evening workshop at GoggleWorks, kids work with beads to build color patterns and make a personalized piece of jewelry, such as a necklace or a bracelet. Everyone takes their finished piece home, and the studio staff take care of the mess. The class is open to all skill levels.
Instructor Paola Mateo leads the session, which is bilingual in English and Spanish. It meets on a Friday evening in the Youth Classroom, room 322, on the third floor of GoggleWorks at 201 Washington Street in Reading. Students should be able to follow instructions and ask questions so they can work safely and finish their project.
Registration is online through the GoggleWorks class page, and it closes five business days before the class begins so the instructor can prepare. Scholarships are available through GoggleWorks for families who need help with the cost.
