Herbal and Garden Folklore at Nolde Forest
Starts Sat, Oct 24, 10:30 AM · Free

About the class
Sarah Linsenmaier of Iron Rabbit Run leads a lighthearted, whimsical talk about the stories that grow up around herbs and gardens. She mixes botanical history, herbalism, herb garden folklore, and the kitchen uses of a few herb garden favorites.
The program is family friendly and meets in the McConnell Hall Classroom at Nolde Forest Environmental Education Center. It is brought to you by the Friends of Nolde Forest. If you want more plants in your day, a botany walk through the woods follows in the early afternoon.
There is no charge to attend, but space is limited. Register ahead through the event page on the DCNR calendar to reserve your spot.
