About the workshop
Painting with a Twist hosts a holiday painting event with a trivia twist on Sunday afternoons. You follow along with the studio artist to paint a Merry Little Christmas design, with a choice of a 16 by 20 canvas or a 16 by 20 wood plank board. Painters of any age are welcome, and the painting is recommended for ages 7 and up, so groups often mix kids and adults.
The studio uses non-toxic acrylic paint that can stain fabric. Aprons are provided, but wear clothes you would not mind getting a little paint on. Plan to arrive about 10 to 15 minutes early to check in, get smocked and settle in. Late arrivals may not be able to paint. Upgrades include glitter and a do it yourself scented soy wax candle, and candle makers should come 30 minutes early.
You may bring your own snacks and drinks. The studio is bring your own bottle and serves only paint water, so bring your own ice; cups are provided, and you must be 21 or over to drink alcohol. If your group is booking separately, note the group name or point person in the special request box and the studio will seat you together. Reserve a seat on the Painting with a Twist Exeter Township event page.
