Death doula Karen Glass leads this three part Death Cafe series at the Main Library. A Death Cafe is a get-together held to remove the taboo around talking about death, so the time is spent in open group conversation rather than lecture or instruction.
The program is for adults ages 18 and up. Plan to arrive at 4:45 so the conversation can begin at 5:00. Come ready to listen and to share as much or as little as you wish.
Registration is required. Call the Reading Public Library at 610-655-6355 to reserve your spot. The program meets at the Main Library on South 5th Street in Reading, and all library locations are accessible.
