Dance Without Limits is a group performance class for teens and adults with special needs. It is built for dancers who move independently and who can follow directions and communicate with their instructors and classmates. Ms. Debbi Silas teaches the class, which meets Friday afternoons at the Yocum Institute.
In a welcoming and interactive setting, dancers work on balance, strength, coordination and performance skills. Classes make room for creative expression and for the camaraderie that comes with dancing as a group. Over the course of the semester, participants prepare together for group performance opportunities.
A detailed semester schedule, including rehearsal and performance information, is emailed to everyone in the class at the start of the session. Registration is handled through the Yocum Institute.
