About the class
Kids build a miniature Halloween world of their own design. Using a mix of materials, students put together tiny seasonal scenes such as a pumpkin patch, a group of trick or treaters, or even a haunted house.
Along the way they pick up the basics of construction, sculpting and perspective, and they take home the finished diorama. The class is built for ages 5 to 10 and meets on Saturdays at the Yocum Institute for Arts Education in West Lawn.
