Students combine different artistic processes and media to build up more complex works of art. Classes focus on the principles of design and on experimenting with a range of drawing and painting techniques, so young artists try out new tools and approaches rather than repeating one method.
The class is aimed at ages 11 to 15 and meets on Tuesday evenings for eight weeks. Nadia Pochan is the instructor. Students who like to draw and paint and want to stretch into mixed media work will find plenty to do here.
