Mt Airy Kennels

Nestled in the rolling hills of Stevens, Pennsylvania, Mt Airy Kennels offers a warm, welcoming home-away-from-home for your furry family members. As a locally owned and operated kennel, we understand how important trust and reassurance are when you leave your dog in someone else’s care. From the moment you step through our gates, you’ll discover a place where compassionate, personalized attention meets spotless facilities and genuine love for every pet that stays with us.

Friendly and Caring Staff

At Mt Airy Kennels, our greatest asset is our people. Customers frequently comment on how “the owner is so sweet & caring” and note, “They are very nice people and they have good rates for quality care, so that helped me feel more comfortable leaving my dog here.” Whether you’re dropping off your pup for the first time or you’re a regular visitor, our team greets you by name, asks thoughtful questions about your dog’s routine and preferences, and shares updates throughout your pet’s stay. This level of genuine, one-on-one attention ensures that you—and your four-legged companion—feel completely at ease.

A Spotlessly Clean and Comfortable Environment

Cleanliness isn’t just a buzzword here—it’s a commitment we uphold every single day. Clients consistently praise Mt Airy Kennels as a “nice and clean kennel” and say they’re “so thankful for this affordable & clean option.” From fresh bedding and sanitized play yards to meticulously cleaned kennels, we maintain rigorous standards of hygiene. Our attention to detail not only keeps your dog healthy and safe but also provides you with peace of mind, knowing they’re enjoying a fresh, odor-free setting.

Happy, Well-Adjusted Pets

One of the most rewarding parts of our job is watching tails wag and seeing paws bound with excitement. Pet owners often report that their dogs “genuinely enjoy their stay” and return home “happy and relaxed.” Take Nacho, for example—his owner even shared, “Nacho loves it here!! ❤️” Whether it’s group playtime, individual attention, or a cozy nap in the sunshine, we design each day to balance social interaction, gentle exercise, and restful downtime. The result? A well-adjusted, contented dog ready to greet you at pickup time.

Transparent Pricing and Exceptional Value

Quality care shouldn’t come with hidden fees. Our boarding rates are celebrated as both fair and affordable—“good rates for quality care”—so you can plan your trip without worrying about unexpected costs. We also understand that the market for purchasing a puppy has shifted, and some prospective buyers note higher price points today (with puppies sometimes listed around $2,300). We strive to remain transparent about our pricing structure and the factors that influence it, ensuring you understand exactly what goes into the investment of a healthy, well-cared-for puppy.

Boarding and Puppy Adoption Services

Mt Airy Kennels goes beyond standard boarding by offering a seamless puppy adoption experience under one roof. If you’re looking to add a new member to your household, our knowledgeable team can guide you through our available litters, answer questions about care requirements, and match you with a pup whose personality fits your lifestyle. For those needing short- or long-term boarding, we accommodate every need—from overnight stays to extended vacations—so you never have to choose between excellent pet care and your peace of mind.
