Chanticleer is a 35-acre pleasure garden on a former estate in Wayne, PA. It opens Wednesday to Sunday from April 1 through November 8.

The 35 acres are laid out as a sequence of garden areas with a one-mile paved loop around them, and picnics are welcome in four designated spots. Summer Fridays stay open until 8 pm with blankets and chairs allowed from 4 pm, and children 12 and under get in free. The season ends November 8, so October is the last full month to see it this year.

Before you go

Parking is free but a reservation is required at peak times (Fridays until 6 pm, Saturdays and Sundays until 3 pm); book parking and tickets online. Bring your own food; there is no cafe, and picnics are welcome in four designated areas. Service dogs only.
