The Delaware Children's Museum is a hands-on children's museum on the Riverfront in Wilmington, DE, built for families with young children.
Kokoun, a climbing and sliding structure that the museum calls the first indoor installation of Kokoun in North America, anchors a set of hands-on galleries: Training Wheels for toddlers, Structures for building, a S.T.E.M. room, Farm-to-Table play, Studio D for art and ECOnnect for nature. Admission is a flat $15, parking is free in Lot K, and you can bring your own lunch.
Before you go
Tickets are sold only at the admissions desk, not online. Park free in Riverfront Lot K at Beech Street and Shipyard Drive, across from Penn Cinema. Outside food and drink are allowed; no cafe, snacks in the gift shop. Adults enter with a child, and children stay with an adult 18 or older.
