Jack Frost Big Boulder is a two-mountain ski area in the Poconos: Jack Frost in White Haven and Big Boulder in Lake Harmony, PA. Both run skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing in winter.
Two mountains run as one resort: Jack Frost off Route 940 near I-476 exit 95 and Big Boulder off Route 903 near I-80 exit 284, with complimentary first-come parking at both. Skiing and snowboarding are the main draw, and snow tubing gives the non-skiers in the car their own reason to make the trip. Jack Frost has a drop-off circle by the lodge, so gear can go in before the car is parked.

Check the hours of operation and the lift and terrain status pages before driving up; both mountains were still listed as closed in early October. Parking is complimentary and first come, first served at both mountains, with a drop-off circle at the Jack Frost lodge.
