Shawnee Mountain Ski Area is a family-owned ski area and snow tubing park in East Stroudsburg, PA, in the Pocono Mountains.
Twenty-three slopes and trails with 700 feet of vertical drop, two terrain parks and snowmaking on every trail, plus night skiing Wednesday to Sunday once the lights come on. The Pocono Plunge Snow Tubing Park has up to six chutes and two carpet lifts, with 1.5-hour sessions from age 4. Children 46 inches and under ski free with a paying adult.
Before you go
Buy lift tickets online in advance: pricing is dynamic, the earlier the cheaper, and busy weekends can sell out. Tubing is sold online only; arrive 30 minutes before your session. Parking is free. No outside food past the footbridge; tailgating in the lots is welcome. All sales are final. No pets.
